Al and Sarah bring a dynamic blend of adventure, creativity, and hospitality to Sea Dog, focused on delivering a fun, relaxing, and unforgettable experience in the Caribbean.
Born in South Africa, Al developed a love for boats and water sports early on, racing dinghies by age 8. He went on to become an accomplished water sports instructor and professional Offshore Yachtmaster. Before moving to the Caribbean, he skippered flotillas in the Mediterranean and built a reputation for his easygoing style, deep expertise, and love for sharing the ocean with guests of all experience levels.
Sarah’s journey began in the world of business and marketing, but it was her love of food that truly took hold. After earning her degree, she followed her passion to culinary school in Cape Town, refining her talent for creating fresh, seasonal, and beautifully presented meals. She worked in the Mediterranean for several years, quickly rising to a lead position thanks to her energy, organization, and care for guest experience. Her background in yoga and wellness, along with her love of snorkeling and diving, brings a calm and personal touch to life on board.
